Measure This Privacy Policy

Information used for gameplay

Measure This does not require an account and does not operate its own online gameplay servers.

The app processes gameplay information needed to provide its features, including target measurements, player attempts, accuracy and error results, Daily Challenge participation and results, selected display units, physical-screen calibration information, and audio or vibration preferences.

This gameplay information is stored locally on the user's device and is not transmitted to the developer.

Physical display calibration

Measure This may use technical display information provided by the Android device, such as screen dimensions, display density, and available display area, to show measurements at an approximately real-world physical scale.

Manual calibration adjustments may also be saved locally on the device. The developer does not receive this calibration or display information through an independent server.

Local storage

The app may store the following information locally on the device:

• Measurement-unit preference.
• Sound and vibration settings.
• Calibration values for different display configurations.
• Daily Challenge completion and results.
• Practice-mode progress and advertising timing information.
• Privacy and consent preferences where applicable.

Uninstalling the app or clearing its application data normally removes this locally stored information.

Advertising and Google AdMob

Measure This uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process technical information for advertising, measurement, security, diagnostics, and fraud prevention. Depending on the device, region, consent choices, and Google configuration, this information may include an IP address used to estimate general location, app interactions, diagnostic or performance information, and device or advertising identifiers.

Consent and privacy choices

Where required, Measure This uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request advertising consent and provide privacy choices.

Users in applicable regions may be asked whether information can be used for personalized advertising. A Privacy choices option may also be available inside the app where required, allowing users to review or change advertising choices.

Android also provides device-level controls for advertising identifiers and advertising personalization.

Sharing results

Measure This allows users to create and share a result card.

Sharing is initiated by the user through the Android sharing interface. The destination application selected by the user may receive the shared image and result text under that application's own privacy policy.

Measure This does not automatically upload shared result cards to the developer or to a Measure This server.

Accounts and personal information

Measure This does not require registration or a user account.

The developer does not intentionally collect names, email addresses, precise locations, contacts, photographs, payment information, or private communications through the app.

Analytics

Measure This does not currently use a separate developer-controlled analytics service.

Advertising-related interaction and diagnostic information may still be processed by Google AdMob as described above.

Data sharing

The developer does not sell user data.

Information may be processed by Google and its advertising partners where necessary to provide advertisements, measure performance, prevent fraud, comply with consent choices, and operate the Google Mobile Ads service.

Data retention and deletion

Gameplay preferences, calibration settings, and Daily Challenge results are retained locally until they are changed by the user, reset through the app, removed by clearing the app's storage, or removed when the app is uninstalled.

The developer does not maintain an independent Measure This user database. Data processed by Google is retained and managed according to Google's policies and user controls.

Children's privacy

Measure This is intended for a general audience and is not designed to request personal information from children.

The app does not require users to submit names, contact details, or account information to the developer. Parents or guardians who believe personal information has been provided through the app may contact the developer using the address below.

Security

Locally stored game information remains within the app's device storage under Android's application-storage protections. Information processed by third-party services is protected according to those services' security practices.

No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if Measure This adds, removes, or changes features, advertising services, analytics tools, third-party SDKs, or data practices.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised Last updated date.
